Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Detroit Pistons have fired Mo Cheeks as their head coach. The announcement comes as the Pistons are sitting in 9th place in the lowly Eastern conference with a 21-29 record. According to Woj, general manager Joe Dumars informed Cheeks the firing on Sunday morning.
