Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported that the Detroit Pistons have fired Maurice Cheeks as their head coach on Sunday morning, and apparently he found out even quicker than some of the Pistons’ players. Check out the reactions from Charlie Villanueva and Brandon Jennings upon hearing the news courtesy of Twitter. Not a great look for the organization.
I personally blame Woj for being too good at his job.
