As it has become a yearly tradition, DeMarcus Cousins took one hundred lucky kids to a Natomas-area Wal-Mart on December 14th for a holiday shopping spree.
This is the third year in which Cousins has done this great holiday tradition. Each kid was given $200 to spend on whatever their hearts’ desired.
Cousins already has one of the best nicknames in the NBA (you can’t beat “Boogie”) but “Santa Cuz” has to rank among the best holiday-themed monikers in all of sports. I don’t think anyone would object if Cousins was referred to as “Santa Cuz” for the next couple of weeks.
