Rajon Rondo has been rehabbing a torn ACL since last February and is finally getting close to being healthy enough for a return to the Boston Celtics lineup. According to a cryptic tweet sent out by the point guard, we could see him back on the floor this Friday when the Lakers visit the Celtics in Boston.
On Tuesday, Rondo tweeted “29,233,380 [seconds]”, which equates to a little more than 338 days – the duration between his ACL surgery on Feb. 13, 2013 and a potential return on Friday.
Both Rondo and Celtics coach Brad Stevens have been stating that Rondo is very close to a return, but have not officially announced anything as of yet. But if Rondo took the time to calculate all those seconds, I’d say it’s a pretty good bet we’ll see him suited up in Boston on Friday night.
