Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is having a slightly frustrating season, and it continued on Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Early in the game, Carmelo had an opportunity to throw down a dunk after a foul was called. The dunk wouldn’t have counted, and he knew that. The statement that Melo tried to make unfortunately backfired and he ended up on his back with a little egg on his face.
You can’t blame Carmelo Anthony for the effort, but you can blame him for the result. The New York Knicks currently have a record of 25-36 and sit in the third-to-last spot in the East.
