Brandon Jennings was on the wrong side of slap to the face during a Drew League game in Los Angeles this weekend, creating a bit of a scene. After scoring on Jennings, former Iowa State standout Mike Taylor got into the face of the newest Detroit Pistons point guard, sparking a bit of a confrontation between the two.
That’s when Taylor, a 2008 Timberwolves draft pick who has a modest 51 games played in his NBA career, delivered an open-handed slap to Jennings’ face.
As to be expected, Jennings was less than pleased and had to be restrained by several teammates after being slapped. Taylor was immediately ejected as a result.
