LaVar Ball’s latest attempt to cash-in on the Big Baller Brand has proven to be a huge success.
This week, Ball launched Big Baller Brand emojis. The app, much like Kim Kardashian’s Kimoji’s, feature plenty of stickers and emojis with Ball quotes, animated pictures and more. The Big Baller Brand emoji app cost $1.99 and reached as high as #2 on the app store’s paid app section according to TMZ.
Unfortunately, the BBB app couldn’t dethrone Ariana Grande’s emoji app. But, number two is nothing to scoff at.
Here’s how LaVar Ball described the app to Forbes.
“Big Baller Brand does everything in a big way. Lonzo does everything big and these Big Baller Brand emojis will give fans a way to share the excitement of his rookie year with the Lakers and the amazing future that awaits all of us with his talent on the court,” says LaVar.
As tired as LaVar’s constant bragging and ridiculous statements are, it’s impossible to deny he knows how to leverage his children’s brand. Emoji apps can be quite lucrative and at $1.99 a pop, it all adds up.
Whether you see it as a negative or positive, the success of this app will likely lead to more Ball-themed ventures. Lonzo better be good. No pressure.
