On Monday, the Twins’ Triple-A team — the Rochester Red Wings — completed a very strange no-hitter that spanned two different months, featured two different pitchers, and took place in two different states. Yup.

While, the final out occurred on Monday in Rochester, the first out of the game actually took place on July 24th in Durham — the home of the Durham Bulls. Pitching for the Red Wings at the start of the game was Trevor May. He went three innings of no-hit ball before the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Since the 24th, May was called up to the big leagues and made his MLB debut for the Twins.

The game resumed yesterday, August 11th. Starting for the Red Wings was Logan Darnell. He went the remaining six innings without allowing a hit, granting the Red Wings one of the weirdest no-hitters you’ll ever see.
