One of the scariest parts of being a pitcher in baseball is seeing one of your pitches get smacked right back at you in the form of a screaming liner up the middle. Wei-Yin Chen managed to survive that nightmare on Friday afternoon when he snagged a sizzler off the bat of Ian Kinsler. Chen’s catch, a snowcone, seemed like it was the product of reflexes and pure instinct than anything, but it seems like it’s been that kind of series for the Tigers so far.
