Jorge Soler was called up by the Chicago Cubs this week and on Wednesday evening he got his chance to show off his stuff. It didn’t take long for the young man to make a good impression as he hit a home run in his first at-bat. The solo shot gave the Cubs a 2-0 lead in the early going over the Reds. The youth movement in Chicago is in full-force.
If you recall, Javier Baez also hit a home run in his first MLB game this season for the Cubbies.
