LeBron’s second go-around with free agency ended with far less emotional disparagement, but left plenty of room for parting shots. A minor league baseball team, the Fort Myers Miracle, a Single-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, is taking their shot with ‘Mourning Monday’.
Mourning Monday, a special event for grieving fans in south Florida, will be exclusively devoted to King James.
Fans wearing Miami Heat apparel will receive free admission to the 7:05pm game against Dunedin. They will have access to places of grieving, stocked with plenty of tissues, an anti-cramping hydration station and can sign a massive “Farewell LeBron” thank you card.
Goodwill will be present to accept LeBron James jerseys or other Miami Heat apparel.
The best part? Those wearing LeBron Cavs jerseys are charged double the price of regular admission.
