Well, if there’s one thing of consequence that came out of CBS News mistakenly congratulating “Michael Jeter” during the All-Star Game, it’s that plenty of people now know that a Michael Jeter did exist. It’s just that instead of Jeter being the world famous shortstop for the New York Yankees that CBS News undoubtedly meant to congratulate, Michael Jeter was actually a character actor and comedian who starred in films like Jurassic Park III, The Green Mile and Air Bud.
Oh, the internet also had a ton of fun with CBS News and “Michael Jeter”. That may not be anything consequential, but it was damn hilarious.
