1. Robinson Cano, Second Baseman
Status: Signed by the Seattle Mariners to a ten-year deal worth $240 million
Doncha’ Know? It’s Robby Cano. Cano is a bonafide superstar and he takes the top spot of the best free agent batters on the market. Cano is riding a Cooperstown bound trajectory to start his career but is he worth the reported $300 million he is asking for? Cano’s father said earlier this year that he sees the star second baseman staying in New York. Yankees GM Brian Cashman says he sees Cano going to the highest bidder. Stay tuned.
