Philadelphia Phillies pitchers sure have generated some attention at the very start of spring training. After Cole Hamels expressed his strong desire to be traded because the Phils just aren’t going to win in 2015, fellow veteran Cliff Lee held an interesting media session on Thursday.
Following the pitchers and catchers’ first workout of the season, Lee proceeded to answer questions using a Magic 8 ball:
It is unclear why Lee did it and if it is a direct shot at the organization for some unpredictable moves over the last 12 months but it was definitely an amusing ploy.
