Oh, maybe that’s not such a minor detail after all. With the media circus surrounding Derek Jeter’s final All-Star appearance on Tuesday night, you’d think that a reputable news outlet such as CBS News would at least, you know, get his name right.
It took nearly 20 minutes and over 2,000 retweets for them to realize the mistake & delete the embarrassing tweet. Unfortunately, that was plenty enough time for the Internet to immortalize the screw up.
