Last week, pitcher Brandon McCarthy signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in a move that will net him $48 million over the next four years.
McCarthy must have been incredibly excited about the prospect of wearing a Dodgers uniform. Instead of waiting, McCarthy decided to “photoshop” a picture of himself so that he’d be wearing a Dodgers “jersey.” The resulting picture, which McCarthy is using for his Twitter avatar, is utterly hilarious.
It’s hard to decide what the best part about this is; the smurf blue glove, the attempt to white-out the pinstripes on the uniform or the “L A” that is oh-so-carefully etched onto the painted-on hat.
As it turns out, not everyone was thrilled with McCarthy’s artistic endeavor. Brandon’s wife put him on blast on Twitter for the avatar.
Seriously @BMcCarthy32 I left you alone for 15 mins and you did that to your picture? You're a terrible artist.. Like really bad
