Monday night at the Colorado Rockies pregame ceremony in Denver featured Carey Rottman, a survivor of the Aurora movie theater shooting last month, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and it was quite emotional. The game between the Rockies and Brewers took a backseat to the great gesture by the Rockies to begin the healing from the movie theater tragedy. Rottman is originally from Milwaukee and moved recently to Colorado, so the pairing of the teams couldn’t have been better for him.
