The folks at 2K Sports took a small gamble on Kate Upton being on the cover of the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and they nailed it. Kate Upton, as many thought, landed the cover and on the exact same day 2K Sports launched a digital short featuring Kate Upton. Well done to capitalize on the S.I. wave of publicity Kate Upton is about to ride.
According to 2K:
This digital spot for Major League Baseball 2K12 again stars AL Cy Young award winner, MVP and 2K Sports cover athlete Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers. This time he is joined in his quest to gain entry to the Perfect Club, a private club reserved for everything perfect — including past perfect game pitchers and even 2K Sports alumni of $1,000,000 winners, by some fellow ballplayers. David Price of the Tampa Bay Rays, Jay Bruce of the Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson also want to work their way into The Perfect Club. Despite all of their many accomplishments, none of them have achieved perfection on the mound, and thus are not allowed in the club. To aid them in their quest for perfection, they’ve enlisted the help of The Perfect Club hostess, supermodel Kate Upton to teach them proper finger mechanics and pitch control. The boys enjoy the lesson, in many many ways. But will it be enough though, to help them throw them most perfect game in the $1,000,000 Perfect Game Challenge and get inside?
