Italian Sara Errani was the victim of a terrible call from a chair umpire during a tennis match against Yanina Wickmayer today. At issue was a serve that clearly landed in bounds (replay proved as much), but was ruled out by the umpire. Wickmayer played the shot, but her return went wide, so Errani felt she deserved the point. The chair umpire disagreed, which caused Errani to go full McEnroe on his overruling ass. Errani’s protest was in vain, but not all was lost, as she did end up winning the match.
