Apparently there are more agonizing things other than a wicked submission move when it comes to MMA brawlers. Former UFC fighter and current WSOP lightweight Waylon Lowe filed a lawsuit against a sex shop in Philadelphia called “The Mood” on May 14. Lowe claims he purchased a sexual aid called “Kama Sutra Pleasure Balm Prolonging Gel” from the intimacy store. In case you’re not familiar with this enhancement gel, it will “increase your endurance – and your pleasure.” The manufacturer claims it will “make lovemaking last longer, this must-have sexual lubricant for men imparts a tingling, slightly numbing sensation that helps you preserve your powers into the night.” Another nifty perk of the Kama Sutra Pleasure Balm lube is that it “also invites the lips with a cool mint flavor.” I may have gone too far with my research on this particular story.Getting back to the uncomfortable hardships of Mr. Lowe, he claims that he used said sex gel on Sept. 1, 2012 when he was getting intimate with his fiancee. His fiancee abandoned the lovemaking session to tend to the couple’s 3-year-old daughter. Soon after the MMA fighter “began to experience excruciating pain and pressure in his penis” and significant swelling which required medical attention. Lowe has stated in his lawsuit that the gel left his genitals “permanently disfigured” and resulted in “catastrophic and permanent damage.” I think all the male readers just collectively shielded their crotches after reading that. No man wants to hear “catastrophic” and “genitals” in the same sentence.
Lowe is currently suing The Mood shop and Kama Sutra Co., the makers of the gel for more than $50,000 in penis damages. The sex shop has since yanked the product from its shelves for the time being. Meanwhile the president of Kama Sutra Co., called the lawsuit “flabbergasting” and said more than 1 million units of the product have been sold and The Mood has defended the sex gel company by saying that the pleasing product has been offered for over 40 years without incident.
I truly hope that Lowe recovers from his broken penis and going forward he should set his priorities on lasting longer in the ring than in the bedroom.
