When I first discovered R.E.M. in middle school I wasn’t much of a fan. That “Losing My Religion” song just irked me. So did “Shiny Happy People.” But a few years later when I was introduced to their older stuff I got on board, particularly their 1988 album Green. Here’s “Stand.”
