The Gin Blossoms first recorded the song “Hey Jealousy” for their 1989 album Dusted. Nobody paid much attention, so they tried it out again on New Miserable Experience in 1992. It still didn’t garner much fanfare, but then they changed the CD cover and re-released the disc the following summer. In 1993, success.
