Ever since the dawn of time men have looked for inventive ways to woo the woman they covet into marriage. Whether it was cavemen smashing their loved one over the head with a club and dragging them back to their cave or the always original marriage proposal by way of the Jumbotron during the seventh inning stretch of your favorite baseball team. Let’s face it, for the most part men just aren’t particularly great at romance. Case in point Jiu-Jitsu student Justin Saikaley who came up with a rather creative and persuasive method of asking his girlfriend’s hand in marriage. Saikaley put the apple of his eye in a triangle choke hold and then presented her with a ring. The lucky lady of course said yes, I mean how could she say no, he would have choked her out.
