Welcome to New Jersey, birthplace of pork roll, home to Bruce Springsteen, and often referred to as the armpit of America. The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ hosted UFC 159 on Saturday night and while the Chael Sonnen fight against Jon Jones was the most ballyhooed brawl, the fans provided a memorable bout of their own. The video titled “Brawl In The Stands at UFC 159 (Guidos vs Rednecks)” really begins to gain steam at the 2:02 mark when beloved Jersey rock legend Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The USA” starts playing and it whips the fans into a frenzy. The melee begins with the boy in blue getting shoved down on to the cement stairs and after that it’s every man for himself as teh fists fly. Way to dispel those derogatory Jersey Shore stereotypes fellas.
