Robert DeNiro was on set in Brooklyn to film some scenes for The Intern but the World Cup match between the US and Germany took precedence over work (especially if it’s for The Intern). Warner Bros. sent out an email to the surrounding area’s apartment buildings, asking anyone if they could make their roof available for a satellite for De Niro.

“Our lead actor, Robert DeNiro, would very much like to watch the World Cup game, today at 12p,” the email said. “Would it be possible to place a small portable satellite on the building rooftop ASAP and run a cable to the street to help facilitate this request?”

Instead, someone invited De Niro to their viewing party because why the hell not and De Niro accepted.
