If you didn’t know Oakland Golden Grizzlies guard Jack Gohlke before the start of the NCAA Tournament, you certainly do after the team’s first-round matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday. And on Friday, his legend only grew with a truly ridiculous full-court shot he made in practice.
Gohlke lit it up on Thursday night against Kentucky, scoring 32 points off the bench while going 10 of 20 on three-point attempts. Kentucky simply couldn’t keep track of him throughout the game. And even when they were, Gohlke was able to make contested shot after contested shot all night long.

His unconscious shooting seemingly carried over to Oakland’s practice on Friday. Evan Solomon, one of Gohlke’s teammates, posted a video on social media of Gohlke making a nearly full-court shot, only adding to the NCAA Tournament legend in the making’s resume.

We are only two days into the tournament and there will likely be plenty of players to step up in the tournament. But Gohlke appears to be the darling of the big dance thus far. And fans couldn’t believe this ridiculous shot on Friday that he made.
Jack Gohlke truly CANNOT MISS 🎯🔥

Jack Gohlke hit a FULL COURT shot in practice today.
Just another highlight for this March Madness legend.

Would you rather shoot a 2 or throw it full court?

It will sure be interesting to see whether Gohlke will be able to replicate his impressive play in the team’s Round of 32 matchup against NC State. If he can, Oakland should have a good chance to make some more March magic.
