Former United States President Donald Trump is an avid golfer, and according to golf legend John Daly, the former president is actually pretty good.
During a recent interview with political commentator Tucker Carlson, John Daly had high praise for Donald Trump and his golf game.
“I gotta work with his chipping a little bit,” Daly said. “But he hits it good. He putts it good. We just gotta work on his chipping.”
Daly said that Trump develops bad habits when he hasn’t coached him up in a while, but when he follows his advice, he chips like a pro.
“He chips it like Tiger [Woods] or Phil [Mickelson],” Daly said.

Carlson then asked Daly why he doesn’t just become Trump’s full-time golf coach, but Daly figured Trump doesn’t have the sort of time to dedicate that much attention to his golf game.
“I don’t think he has the time to play that much golf,” Daly said.
But that doesn’t mean Trump isn’t passionate about that game.
“He loves it, he’s passionate about it,” Trump said. What I love about him is he plays quick. We can go out there and have an eightsome with him and we’re done in three hours. He don’t mess around.”
