Barring some sort of calamity, America is headed toward a presidential rematch this fall between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
And while Trump is currently dealing with a trial about his alleged hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, he’s still finding time to needle his political rival in Biden.
“Right here, Biden made a claim that inflation under Trump was 9%, when it wasn’t; it was a tiny fraction. It was 1.4% and actually going down. But we had essentially almost no inflation, but we had 9% inflation — and that’s a fake number because not everything was included — with Biden,” Trump said outside his trial in New York, according to Yahoo! “And if you add it all up, I think it’s a 50% inflation tax. I call it the ‘Biden Inflation Tax.'”
Trump then couldn’t do without a parting shot at Biden’s golf game, alleging the current president can’t hit triple digits on a drive.
“So, he lies, and he lies about everything, including his golf game. Because he can’t hit a ball. He can’t hit a ball 100 yards.”
Biden did not immediately return a salvo. Trump, for his part, is a prestigious golfer. Maybe one day these two will meet on the golf course.
