Patrick Roy’s NHL coaching debut probably didn’t go exactly as he planned. Despite the fact that his Colorado Avalanche tore apart the Anaheim Ducks by a score of 6-1, Roy got into it with Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau and nearly crushed him with a glass partition. The incident occurred after Avs rookie Nathan MacKinnon was the victim of a dirty knee-on-knee hit from Anaheim’s Ben Lovejoy. Coach Roy did not hesitate to let his emotions fly, as he screamed at players and nearly shoved his way onto the Anaheim bench to go after Boudreau.
It sure never is boring with Patrick Roy around. Welcome back, buddy!
