Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III had to be taken to the locker room after the below massive hit by Sean Weatherspoon. Kirk Cousins was warming up on the Redskins sidelines following the injury and came in the game on the next Redskins possession. The injury is a reminder of the perils of being a run first QB in the NFL. It appeared that RG3’s chin took the worst of the hit. The Redskins announced that RG III was ‘shaken up.’ His return is currently questionable.
Kirk Cousins fared well in his back-up role as he threw a 77-yard TD to Santana Moss.
