USC officially ended their search for a new football coach on Monday afternoon, hiring Steve Sarkisian away from the University of Washington after five seasons. Sarkisian was an assistant at USC for seven seasons (2001 to 2003 and 2005 to 2008), including an assistant head coach and offensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008 before heading to Washington.
He also happens to be very good friends with Lane Kiffin, who was fired by USC earlier this year…so there’s that.
