Those elderly folks love their golf down in Florida, and the Rays must of been appealing to the early bird crowd, getting in a few hacks before the game. It must have been Pitch and Putt Night at the Trop Monday night, because the golf activities stemmed from the pre-game right up to the first pitch.
Pitcher David Price pretty much turned his field into a driving range during pre-game activities.
That’s Price with Golf Channel’s Holly Sonders, who later gave new meaning to throwing out the first pitch:
It is reported that Sonders chipped that one in for birdie.
Girl can throw a baseball too in case you were wondering, but really, we wanted to throw another photo in here because she aint too hard to look at.
The Rays beat the Rangers 6-2.
