You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried. The University of Maryland college football team has suffered its fourth season ending injury for a quarterback this season. Freshman Caleb Rowe is the latest casualty to have gone down via a torn ACL. The first three quarterbacks to be injured included Devin Burns with a season ending Lisfranc injury, C.J. Brown who tore the ACL in his right knee in August, and his replacement Perry Hills who tore the ACL in his left knee only a week ago in a loss to North Carolina State.
This is unheard of, and the Madden curse now seems like child’s play.
