Kobe Bryant is still working on returning to the court after suffering the achilles injury that cut his season short last spring, but that hasn’t stopped the future Hall of Famer or the Lakers from hashing out a two-year contract extension to keep the Mamba in Los Angeles.
Bryant and the Lakers confirmed the extension on Monday morning by posting pictures of the contract signing.
If Kobe plays out the contract, he will become the longest tenured player (20 years) with one team in NBA history.
