David Beckham has reportedly retired from professional football according to an exclusive from the Daily Mail. Becks’ career began in Manchester United in 1992 where he became a fan favorite at Old Trafford for his insanely accurate boot on free kicks. Beckham had stints elsewhere including powerhouse Real Madrid and even in the States with the LA Galaxy. Beckham finished his career out on top as he just won a title with his current team, PSG.
Beckham released a statement to the AP saying he is “thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level.”
