This past weekend, Red Sox outfielder and noted sneakerhead Shane Victorino was spotted on the sideline of the Oregon/Stanford game. And while his presence confused many, it turns out that Victorino was on the sidelines as a part of an upcoming one-day internship that he’s going to do with Nike in Beaverton, Oregon.
To be clear, Victorino certainly doesn’t NEED an internship to gain some valuable contacts at Nike headquarters, but it seems that the Swoosh hooked him up with a couple of Oregon Air Jordans for his troubles. Something tells me that these aren’t given out to every intern who graces Nike’s hallowed halls.
The III’s are slick but those IV’s are fire.
