Kanye West’s new low-top adidas Yeezy 350 Boosts were released this past weekend and promptly went flying off the shelves, with pairs now going for around $1,000 on eBay.
With hype for the sneaker being ridiculously high, the folks over at Jenkem Magazine decided that the best way to dismantle the fervor surrounding the Yeezy 350 would be to use them like, well, shoes. Sure, literally throwing the sneakers under a bus may be a bit much, but it’s refreshing to be reminded that sneakers are, at the end of the day, things that we put on our feet so that we don’t hurt ourselves while we walk, run or skateboard through the streets.
