Although the movie was released last month, the collaboration between adidas and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron still has some releases in store for the superhero loving public.
And, unlike the previous adult-sized release, these will have some unmistakable Avengers-flair to them.
Called the adidas x Marvel’s Avengers retro basketball collection, the collaboration will feature four sneaker models, each done as an homage to one of the following Avengers: Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Hulk. The collection will release on July 4th and each pair is priced at $125.
While every single one model’s inspiration is fairly obvious, the Iron Man colorway of the adidas Crazy 8 is the clear standout of the bunch. The Thor and Captain America ones aren’t bad either. As for the Hulk inspired T-Macs… I’m not sure if green and purple belong together on a shoe.
