In this age of overprotecting our children with kid gloves from everything from bullies to peanut butter, this video of toddlers boxing is rather shocking. In what appears to be the U.S. preparing a new generation to defend the country against the Nazis, this video shows very young toddlers battling each other in the boxing ring. The video was shot in Annapolis, Maryland in 1942 in a time when there was no head gear, no trophy given to losers and babies were given whiskey to put hair on their chest. Is it bad that I found myself rooting for certain 4-year-olds and even wanted to place bets on them?
