I remember taking a girl on a date to a Red Sox game a few years back, and she noticed that they all had a different song play as they were stepping up to the plate. She asked me “what song would you pick if you were a player?” I think I may have freaked her out a bit because I answered right away without even thinking about it. Is it weird that it’s something I’d already debated and come to a decision on a long time ago? Anyway, it’s the first seven seconds of “Ditty” by Paperboy. No brainer.
