Passengers on an Allegiant Air flight were stranded over three hours on two different planes, but it didn’t crush their spirit. The travelers were trapped on a scorching 110 degree Las Vegas tarmac with no A/C, food, or water. The heat became so unbearable a woman passed out in the aisle while two others had medical problems. Despite the dire conditions these brave travelers broke into song instead of a symphony of complaints. One unwavering passenger rallied the plane by playing R. Kelly’s inspirational “I Believe I Can Fly” on his portable music player. Fellow flyers joined in the sing-along and waived their hands in the air like they just don’t care if they ever reach their final destination of Phoenix. Personally I would have went with the more upbeat “Ignition Remix” to alleviate the tension, but their song choice was probably a little more fitting.
