When you smoke as much weed as the legendary Snoop does, some things like changing your name just seem like the right thing to do. We are not judging by any means, we love the big fella, but this is too good to not share. Snoop has been deeply involved recently in a Rastafarian church as of late, and now officially changed his stage name to “Snoop Lion.” Snoop explains the change and his eye opening experiences recently during his travels in Jamaica during the below press conference. The Smoking Section found the only really portion of the presser that you need:
“I didn’t know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, ‘Snoop Dogg.’ And he looked me in my eyes and said, ‘No more. You are the light; you are the lion.’ From that moment on, it’s like I had started to understand why I was there.”
