A while back Sesame Street put out a couple of skits, Birdwalk Empire and Upside Downton Abbey, parodying shows that aren’t exactly meant for the same demographic as theirs. Fortunately, the people at PBS know how important television is in culture today so they have found a way for these kids to keep relevant at their pre-school water coolers.
This time Sesame Street has taken a gritty, Shakespearian biker drama and turned it into something digestible for kids who watch the show. Right on.
