As a result of the NHL lockout, just about anything involving ice skates seems to get hockey media attention. I’ve seen more fifteen year-olds throw down on the ice than I ever could have wanted or imagined. This next clip, however, is totally awesome and deserving of attention, not only because of the goalie knockout at 0:44, but because the entire fight is set to the tune of “Party in the U.S.A.”. This line brawl occurred on Sunday night between the Minnesota Wilderness and the Thunder Bay North Stars of the Superior International Junior Hockey League. Nothin’ like a little Miley Cyrus to get you pumped up.
