Tuesday, Feb. 16 marked the 20th anniversary of the introduction of one of the most iconic movie characters of all time: Happy Gilmore.
Armed with a modest $12 million budget and relatively little-known Adam Sandler, fresh off his appearance in 1995 comedy Billy Madison, the film received mixed reviews, with critics blasting it and others praising Sandler’s performance.
