Netflix is really killing it these days and it looks like they’ve hit another home run (see what I did there?) with their documentary, “The Battered Bastards of Baseball”. It’s the story of the Portland Mavericks, owned by Bing Russell (father of Kurt Russell), an upstart independent minor league baseball team. It looks like what they did was magical and I can’t wait to see this when it drops.
