If there is one thing that 8-Bit Cinema often gets right, it’s the ability to condense an entire movie and all of its relevant plot points down to a nice Youtube clip segment.

Less appreciated, but just as crucial, is finding an 8-bit video game format which lends itself nicely to the movie subject. Sure, Kill Bill is obviously going to be a side-scrolling arcade beat-em-up but taking the great film Se7en and making it into a Monkey Island-like puzzle game is a shrewd move.

And yes, this is a bit detailed for an 8-bit game but Cinefix got the grit of the movie right (the backing track to the clip is great) so we’ll cut them some slack.
