So this is weird. Timofey Mozgov — of “You’ve Been Mozgov’d” fame — participated in an interview with Cleveland Cavaliers sideline reporter Allie Clifton before tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. For some reason, and without hesitation, Mozgov answered the first question in Russian. To her credit, Clifton played it off smoothly, and went right into the second question — which Mozgov answered in English. We’re not sure what the explanation is for this, but maybe all those days on the road really messed with Mozgov’s head.
Speaking of shaking it off, Clifton chalked up to a little Russian 101.
“@Kyle_T10: @FSOAllieOop hahaha what just happened there with Mozgov?” Little Russian 101… Ain’t hurt nobody.
