Bill Belichick must not be too worried about Tom Brady’s injury situation because he was in good enough of a mood to crack some jokes at a reporter’s expense on Friday morning.
During Friday’s end of the week presser at Gillette Stadium, Belichick noticed that Comcast SportsNet New England reporter Tom E. Curran was wearing golf shoes and decided to call him out on it, asking “You going golfing today, Tom?”
Curran replied by telling Belichick that he had forgotten his shoes while rushing out of the house “to find out what happened to your damn quarterback.” Curran also tried to turn the tables and poke fun at Belichick’s wardrobe, but the smug Patriots coach never faltered and kept laying it on Curran.
“On your way to the golf course, you stopped by here…I got,” Belichick uttered with a big grin.
