Brandon Anderton might be creating art with a microscopic lifespan but if can get one person to stop and enjoy his sand creations, he considers it to be well worth his time. The former motorcycle racer chatted with Seeker Stories about his love for creating designs in the sand of California beaches, a practice that brings him peace and feelings of catharsis.
As told by Anderton in the video below, he doesn’t concoct elaborate ideas and map out their delicate details prior to selecting an area of the beach, but instead waits for a simple shape or image to come to mind and builds upon it. The results are incredible designs that last no longer than a few hours but ones that he hopes will provide inspiration for others.
